Privacy Policy

MyRepairTicket · Effective date: October 28, 2026

The short version: CA3DWorks collects nothing. No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no CA3DWorks account. Your shop’s records stay on your iPhone and in your own iCloud Drive backups.

This policy is for the MyRepairTicket app from CA3DWorks (Carlos Andrade). It explains what the app stores and what CA3DWorks does not collect.

Who this applies to

MyRepairTicket is a service ticket app for repair shops. This policy covers the free iPhone app. CA3DWorks does not run servers for it and does not receive the information you enter.

What the app stores

Your shop’s records. Shop details and logo; customers (names, company, phone numbers, email and mailing addresses, notes); devices and serial numbers; tickets, check-in checklists, and signatures; parts, labor, payments, and counter sales; warranty claims; and technician time entries. They are stored in a database on your iPhone.

Device passcodes. A passcode entered at check-in is encrypted on the iPhone with a key kept in the iPhone’s Keychain. Passcodes are not printed on invoices.

Settings. App preferences, such as backup and color settings, are stored on the iPhone.

Backups

Automatic Backups are on to start with. They save copies of the database in the RepairTicket folder of your own iCloud Drive, or on the iPhone (Files > On My iPhone) when iCloud Drive is off. iCloud Drive is provided by Apple under your Apple ID; CA3DWorks cannot access it.

Your customers’ information

The information you enter about your customers belongs to your shop. Your shop decides what to collect and is responsible for handling it under the laws that apply to your business. CA3DWorks never receives it.

Permissions

The app doesn’t ask for any permissions. Add from Contacts uses Apple’s contact picker, which shares only the contact you choose; the app does not get access to your Contacts. Choosing a shop logo uses Apple’s photo picker, which shares only the picture you pick.

Sharing

MyRepairTicket shares information only when you do it yourself: printing or sharing an estimate, invoice, or check-in receipt, exporting a CSV file, emailing a customer from your Mail app, or opening an address in Apple Maps. It goes only to the app or printer you choose.

What we do not do

  • No ads
  • No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs
  • No tracking across other companies’ apps or websites
  • No sale of personal data
  • No accounts on our servers

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its data from your iPhone. Backups stay until you delete them in the Files app (the RepairTicket folder).

Future versions

Versions for shop networks and Android are planned and will work differently. This policy will be updated before they are available.
